London-based and native Italian, Airali, chose 12 tunes which have stuck by her and which lie in a special place. She is the co-founder and resident of Co-Select, which is a ‘London-based collective advocating equality in DJ culture by curating back to back sets with a focus on balanced representation.’ In the past they have thrown parties in London in venues such as Grow Tottenham, Rye Wax and Venue MOT Unit 18. Here Airali expresses a wide library of music into her sets. Her mixes have a slick flow of thumping tunes, heavy drums, but also contribute emotional feelings, which gives the excitement that you do not know what is going to come next.

Besides Co-Select, she is also involved as a core DJ of Sisu. Sisu focusses on ‘providing a platform to educate, inspire and showcase aspiring women, trans women and non-binary DJs and producers’.

Airali’s inspiration has come from special moments on the dance floor and from her experience of the London dance music scene both as a DJ and a raver.
