085 - Bastienne

This week in our series we invited promising talent Basje Feenstra, better known as Bastienne. Based in the city of Amersfoort in the Netherlands, Basje is involved in the scene as a DJ and she’s active in hosting events as well. She is one of the co-founders of Grounded Festival, which is located in Houten. A festival which makes ‘sustainability sexy’ and which ‘celebrates, shares and makes feeling good even more tangible’. Besides Grounded, she is involved in the organisation of Raveplan, which takes place in her hometown Amersfoort.
On the DJ side of things, Basje takes you on a journey through fast paced thumping tunes, to electro or even on a funky route. Previously she has played at parties in Amsterdam, Utrecht and is set off to play more when the pandemic situation is more stable. Besides this, she also has the plan to release her own radio concept in the future. Here she will focus on inviting selectors from a raving culture point of view for interviews and DJ sets.
For Tunr, Basje gave us a step by step overview of what tunes started her to dig deeper, how she doesn’t differentiate by genre and what classics she cannot do without.
