We spoke with Poznań based DJ, Monster, about 15 tunes that shaped her musical knowledge that is heard in her sets, from “euphoric and fun music - be it house, techno, acid, trance, breaks or… Rihanna.”
During the late 00’s, she started her own Squat The Electricity nights in an anarchist squat and social centre in her hometown. Monster told us about Spokój by Super Girl & Romantic Boys and how it is the “ultimate party starter at every Polish squat party”.
Monster is a member of Oramics, a “Polish queer-feminist platform dedicated to supporting underrepresented artists and amplyfing voices of Eastern European electronic music scene.” Besides this she is a resident at Project LAB, which hosts events in Poznań.
In the past she has played all over Poland, but also in cities such as London and Berlin.
