Tom and Lorenzo are the two Dutch creators and artists who are behind T.U.R.F. They met back in the day at a rave, where they became friends and later formed a musical duo. With mutual interests and a combination of each other's skill sets, they set forward to create their sound. In 2017 they officially set up T.U.R.F. and had their first release on Apparel Music with their ‘Moonlighting’ EP. Since then, they have brought out numerous records, not only digitally but also on vinyl. Labels such as Exploited Records, Tilly Jam and True Romance Records have featured the productions by the pair.
In the last couple of years they got support from big names, from the likes of Mousse T., Inland Knights and Treasure Fingers, just to name a few. As DJ’s, the pair has a large variety of tunes from their archive, which they built up by digging and collecting for more than 15 years. In their contribution to our series, Tom and Lorenzo both picked seven tunes that contributed to their musical taste. It is clear that these two guys have a great passion for music and are ones to keep an eye on.
