We sat down with the Irish born DJ and producer Eddie Reynolds, also known as Tr One. The Carlow based Eddie has been producing since the early 2000s. At the time he worked alongside Dean Feeney and they brought out their work under the name Tr One. Nowadays Tr One consists of only Eddie himself.
Throughout his solo mission, he has brought out on labels which include some of Ireland’s well established labels such as Lunar Disko, Apartment, Bodytonic, Pogo and 393 Records.
In the Irish capital he has played at the likes of Twisted Pepper, Wigwam and District 8.
During our talk Eddie took us back to what he loves best, with detailed descriptions of what shaped his musical taste. You will hear a lot of soulful influences from Detroit and Chicago, bands like The Cure and ‘brain melting basslines’.
